Brittany Parker is a Maine-based theatre-maker, composer, musician, and teacher. She is passionate about the power of art to enhance daily life in rural communities and is interested in creating works of performance that appeal to all ages. Her work often includes original music, puppetry, and audience interaction, exploring themes of compassion, social justice, and environmental awareness.
She is the Education Program Coordinator for the Strand Theatre in Rockland and the creator and lead singer of Bee Parks and the Hornets, an indie pop-rock band for family audiences. She also performs with the Blake Rosso Band, a new-grass group based out of Mount Desert Island, Maine.
