Brittany Parker is a Maine-based theatre-maker, composer, musician, and teacher. She is passionate about the power of art to enhance daily life in rural communities and is interested in creating works of performance that appeal to all ages. Her work often includes original music, puppetry, and audience interaction, exploring themes of compassion, social justice, and environmental awareness.
She is the Education Program Coordinator for the Strand Theatre in Rockland, and was previously the Producing Artistic Director of the Barn Arts Collective, an arts non-profit offering free artist residencies on Mount Desert Island. She is also the creator and lead singer of Bee Parks and the Hornets, an indie pop-rock band for family audiences.
