I'm so excited to be working on The Waiter Project again, after having done a reading of it last year at Primary Stages. The play, written by Elizabeth Swearingen, centers around the lives of actor/waiters in NYC who find themselves the subject of a new reality series. We'll be doing several readings over the next few months and the team has started a Kickstarter campaign:
Donate Now! SmartMouth Productions, the film/photography/media company that I am also proud to be a part of, is working on the project as well and filmed a recent private reading. Stay tuned for more of SmartMouth's involvement with the show! Back in October of last year I had the pleasure of performing in Karen O's rock opera, Stop the Virgens, at St. Ann's Warehouse (dir. Adam Rapp). The show was an absolute blast, and gave me the opportunity to work with so many brilliantly creative musicians, artists, and performers. The Creator's Project worked in partnership with the production and created a 30 min documentary about the process. See Part 1 here (with links to production stills and Part 2):

TinyRhino is their take on the 10 min play festival-- happening every month, they commission six playwrights to write plays that include five different elements. Everytime one of these elements occurs onstage, the audience drinks. That's right -- its a theatrical drinking game!
The piece I performed in was called "Love, Confusion, and Other Fun" by Aaron Wigdor Levy, directed by Danny Sharron. I was lucky to have the brilliant Craig Mungavin as my scene partner. For more info on all of UglyRhino's events, visit www.uglyrhinonyc.com. This past weekend I traveled with the NYC based Jumpers Orchestra to Detroit, MI for the opening of the new Driving America Exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum. Check out the pictures below!
