Brittany Parker is a Maine-based theatre-maker, composer, musician, teaching artist, and video content creator. She is passionate about the power of art to enhance daily life in rural communities and is interested in creating works of performance that appeal to all ages. Her work often includes original music, puppetry, and audience interaction, exploring themes of empathy, social justice, and environmental awareness.
She is the Education Director for the Strand Theatre in Rockland and the creator and lead singer of Bee Parks and the Hornets, an indie pop-rock band for family audiences. She is also a co-creator for STEMmersive, an artistic company that provides interactive theatrical adventures in science. Brittany received the Maine Arts Commission's Performing Artist Fellowship for 2023.
