Brittany Parker is a Maine-based theatre-maker, composer, musician, teaching artist, video content creator, and Education Director at the Strand Theatre in Rockland. She is passionate about the power of art to enhance daily life in rural communities and is interested in creating works of performance that appeal to all ages. She has helped to create ten original productions for intergenerational audiences, many of which include music, puppetry, and audience interaction. Brittany has a decade of experience in theatre education, particularly for young people. She also is the composer and lead singer of Bee Parks and the Hornets, an indie pop-rock band for families, and a co-creator of Stemmersive, making interactive theatrical adventures in science. Brittany received the Maine Arts Commission's Performing Artist Fellowship for 2023.
